What do I need to play Final Girl?
You need the Core Box PLUS at least one Feature Film box to play. The Core Box alone is not sufficient to play the game. Each Feature Film contains a Killer, a Location, and two Final Girls.
Can I mix and match components from different Feature Films?
Yes! If you own multiple Feature Films, you can use ANY Killer with ANY Location and any Final Girl in any combination you like. All content from different Series is compatible with each other.
What's the difference between Feature Films and Vignettes?
Feature Films contain a Killer, a Location, and two Final Girls. Vignettes (with names starting "Terror from...") only contain one Killer and one Final Girl, but no Location. To play with a Vignette Killer, you must use a Location from a Feature Film.
How do I win the game?
The game only ends one of two ways: either you (the Final Girl) destroy the Killer and win, or the Killer slays you and you lose. If both die at the same time, the Final Girl wins by making the ultimate sacrifice.
Do I have to save victims to win?
No, saving victims is not required to win - your ultimate goal is taking down the Killer. However, saving victims provides valuable bonuses, and if you save enough you'll unlock an Ultimate Ability unique to your chosen Final Girl.
How should I organize my Feature Film boxes after opening them?
Transfer the 2 Final Girl cards to your Core Box since they can be used with any game setup. The box covers are removable and become the Killer and Location boards, with removable plastic trays containing all components for easy setup and cleanup.
Are the different Series (Series 1, Series 2, etc.) compatible with each other?
Yes, all content from different Series is fully compatible. You can use a Location from Series 1 with a Killer from Series 2 and any Final Girl. The Series just indicates which release cycle an expansion is from.
How do I set up the Feature Film components for the first time?
Open your Feature Film box and transfer the 2 Final Girl cards to your Core Box. Remove the covers to reveal the Killer and Location boards, and take out the plastic trays containing the cards and components for each side.
What are the main actions I can take during the game?
You will be moving around the location to search for helpful items, save victims, and confront (or run away from) the Killer. Meanwhile, the Killer will be killing victims and attacking you throughout the game.
How are the cards organized to keep different games separate?
All cards are marked with icons indicating which Killer or Location they belong to. This helps you separate and organize cards when putting them away after mixing components from different Feature Films.
